The 18th edition of “CAN Info Tech and ICT Conference 2012” is going to be held with an aim of showcasing and launching new IT products along with boosting the sector with effective strategies at Exhibition Hall, Bhrikutimandap, in the capital from January 26-31.
Organising a press conference in the capital on Monday, Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) informed that the six-day event will have participants from national and international companies, exhibiting various new and unique technologies.
The event is one of the biggest IT shows ever held in Nepal, which will have participants from the total of 107 companies.
This year, the event will have199 stalls featuring companies related to hardware and maintenance (34 percent), power solutions (12 percent), mobile accessories (8 percent), dealer and distributor (9 percent), ISp (8 percent), printing services (3 percent), telecommunication (1 percent), training and colleges (7 percent), software and solution (13 percent) and others (5 percent), informed the organiser.
The organiser also informed that the various stalls from national and international companies will come up with attractive packages and schemes at reasonable prices on their products.
The entrance ticket is fixed at Rs.100 for general public and Rs. 50 for students while Rs. 200 has been fixed for the special ‘Business Day’ on January 29, 2012 which is focused for bulk business.
Similarly, CAN is also organising ICT Conference 2012 with the theme “the Internet is for everyone” on the sideline of the Info-Tech where various national and international experts are set to present their papers on infrastructure, e-enable services and applications, internet content, security, law and policy.
