The 26th conference of Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) is scheduled to be held in Nepal with an aim to promote Nepal Investment Year 2012/13 from October 3 to 5.

Informing about the 26th CACCI conference at a press conference here in the capital on Friday, vice-president of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Bhawani Rana said this kind of event would play vital role in promoting Nepal internationally.

Similarly, former president of FNCCI Pradip Kumar Shrestha who is also Executive Committee member of CACCI, said the event is going to historic.

The event will be participated by over 300 industrialists and entrepreneurs from 27 member countries of CACCI, according to FNCCI.

The conference with the theme “Vision for Shared Prosperity” is also expected to boost economic and trade relation, cooperation in investment and technology, tourism among others between the member nations, FNCCI said.
